Caring for the land, water and wildlife of the Bellarine

See what we do
Bellarine Catchment Network brings community groups, land managers and volunteers together to protect and celebrate the unique environments of the Bellarine Peninsula.
From coastal dunes and seagrass meadows to wetlands, farms and backyards, we support projects that restore habitat, reduce litter, build climate resilience and connect people with nature. Whether you’re a long-time local group or just starting to get involved, there’s a place for you in the network.

What we’re working on

Our programs focus on the places and issues that matter most to the Bellarine community. Explore a few of our key areas of work:

We acknowledge the Wadawurrung People as the Traditional Owners of the land, waters, seas and skies of the Bellarine Peninsula, and pay our respects to Elders past and present. We honour the deep connection Wadawurrung People have maintained Country for thousands of years through care, knowledge and stewardship.

As an organisation working to protect and restore biodiversity across the Bellarine, we recognise the importance of listening to and learning from Traditional Owners. We are committed to working respectfully with Wadawurrung People to care for Country and support healthy, thriving ecosystems and communities
