The Friends of Murrk Ngubitj Yarram Yaluk welcome volunteers to assist with bush restoration activities at this special reserve in Mannerim! The group meet on the first Wednesday each month to remove invasive weeds and contribute to citizen science, all with the aim to preserve the unique wood and heathlands. This program is a great way for volunteers to meet new people, learn to identify local plants and weeds and make a direct difference to a local habitat.
Key details
- Each session runs for 2 hours but volunteers can stay for as long as they like
- All tools and equipment (gloves, safety glasses, bags) are provided by BCN staff
- We meet at the main entrance along Swan Bay Road, in Mannerim (326/376 Swan Bay Rd, Wallington VIC 3222)

- We end the session with a complimentary morning tea!
- If the weather is unfavourable, look to see if the event is cancelled here.
